Over the years, our mission has become so much bigger than the sum of its parts. Like the strength of the roots and soil that determine the health of your garden, our story is the result of the kindness and generosity from our entire community. Vernon provides us the nourishment needed to keep pushing forward and continually strive to provide better products, services and advice. Your support is the precursor to our ambition and enthusiasm.

Thanks to the incredible support from the community over the years, we were able to expand our services to the Kelowna area. Providing a superior product and shopping experience is at the forefront of our approach into the Kelowna community. Bringing in experienced team members to join something more than just a business but a family.

Nick Moffat

Owner

Nick grew up in a garden centre, where he worked his way up from parking lot hot-dog vendor to General Manager. At the same time, he obtained his Business Administration & Management Diploma from Okanagan College. As he worked hard to manage the garden centre location, he took a risk and started a landscaping business which was subsequently sold in 2012. Some years later, he formally combined his business skills and nursery knowledge to found Nicholas Alexander Landscaping in 2015. He continues to manage company operations, picking up various awards along the way. Him and Jamee then worked tirelessly to solidify the plans for their crown jewel: The Nicholas Alexander Home & Garden Centre!
Jamee Moffat

Owner

Jamee grew up in a busy family of working professionals, where she forged an opportunistic attitude and tireless work-ethic. She used these invaluable traits to become a successful Okanagan Realtor, all while balancing a busy young family! She was a natural, though she quickly recognized that contract writing is only one aspect of the job. Her attention to detail and customer service allowed her to stand out and thrive. The experience she garnered would serve her well, as she and Nick shifted gears to establish The Nicholas Alexander Home & Garden Centre! Jamee is also the ambitious mind behind That Fashion Co, a boutique clothing store under the same roof.
